Continuing Education

PLEASE NOTE: We are not offering an LPN program at this time.

Oakland University Continuing Education programs meet the growing demand for nurses by offering educational activities to improve skills, knowledge and practice related to optimal healthcare delivery and self-care. Activities may consist of one-hour online courses, multiweek online courses, face-to-face workshops and conferences or on site offerings at our hospital partners. The CE Committee and Lead Nurse Planner work with healthcare partners to identify educational needs, assess needs of the learner, develop and deliver quality evidence-based content and adhere to the guidelines set by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and American Nurses Association.

If you are interested in learning more about Educational Activities, please contact Amy Johnson at
