Benefits and Discounts

Upon graduating from Oakland University, all alumni are automatically members of the Oakland University Alumni Association at no cost and can take advantage of several benefits and discounts like those listed below.

Meadow Brook Theatre

Oakland University Alumni receive $2 off the Group Ticket Price for any number of tickets when you purchase your tickets in advance from the Meadow Brook Theatre Group Sales Office. This excludes Christmas Carol. Advance tickets can be purchased Mon-Fri from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Call the Group Sales Office at (248) 370-3316.

OU Athletics Gold Zone

Meadow Brook Hall

Receive $10 admission for general tours for OU alumni and one guest (does not apply to Holiday Walk or other special tours) and $5 off Meadow Brook Hall special events (excludes Holiday Walk). OU License Plate

Show your Grizzly pride on the road and help support students. Oakland University receives $25 for each new plate purchased, and $10 for each time a plate is renewed. Visit the SOS website to order your license plate.

OUCU Affinity Card

Oakland University Branch of the OUCU

OU alumni are eligible for membership with the Oakland University Branch of the Federal Credit Union. Kresge Library borrowing privileges

OU alumni receive borrowing privileges at Kresge Library. Access to the library's website and online catalog is available to everyone remotely, while e-journals, e-books and research databases are available from computers in the library. University Recreation and Well-Being Center

Get in shape and have fun at one of the top fitness facilities in the Oakland area. The University Recreation and Well-Being Center offers a 177-yard indoor track, a 50-meter pool, sport courts, and health/fitness programs. Alumni are eligible for membership. Professional and Continuing Education

Oakland University PACE is excited to announce a 10% discount on the Project Management Principles certificate course to OU alumni, faculty, and staff. Multi-person company discounts are also available for those interested in sending a group. As a Registered Education Provider of the Project Management Institute (PMI), OU PACE has agreed to abide by PMI-established quality assurance criteria.
