College Math Jump Start
This invitation-only program is a one-week interactive, personalized workshop that is designed to prepare students enrolled in MTH 0661 for their first college math course at Oakland University. Together, we will build your confidence in math and teach you skills necessary to be successful in college math courses and beyond.
Benefits include:
- Small class size -- 1 instructor to 4 students, for personalized instruction
- Relaxed and supportive environment -- feel comfortable and ask questions while learning at your own pace
- MTH 0661 instructors -- our instructors will also teach MTH 0661 in fall semester
- Access to OU resources such as the Academic Success Center (ASC) and the Math Help Center
- Opportunity to increase your learning potential and success rate in a traditionally difficult course
Program Details:
Location: Oakland University main campus
Days: Monday through Friday, either August 12-16 OR August 19-23, 2024
Time: 9 am - 3 pm each day
All program supplies and daily lunch will be provided.
