This section of reading clinic includes four 60-minute reading diagnosis assessment sessions during which a variety of informal assessments and diagnostic teaching are administered and analyzed to identify readers’ strengths, needs, and reading levels. This information is used, in combination with ongoing observation, to inform instruction, which occurs across twelve sessions. Parent participation and support will be part of every clinic.
Teachers and children in this clinic will meet in their home schools or local libraries. Therefore, teacher-child pairings for instruction will occur based on location. Limited openings may be available.
