Authorizing excellent schools is the focus of the Oakland University Office of Public School Academics. Our strategic priority is to ensure that each Academy provides a quality education to its students, utilizes sound governing policies and fulfills its fiscal and legal responsibilities.
Oakland University's diverse portfolio of K-12 urban area schools provide learning opportunities that have a positive impact on their communities. With over 20 years of chartering schools, Oakland University and the OU/PSA office remains a force for quality and strives to hold schools accountable in meeting the high standards and expectations of both the public and families they serve.
