Scope and Applicability:All students enrolled in the School of Medicine. |

Standard Practice Guideline:Students who fail to maintain the expected acceptable ethical, professional, technical, academic, or clinical standards, and/or fails to comply with any of the policies, procedures, rules, regulations, ordinances or other requirements of Oakland University (OU), Corewell Health (CH), and the School of Medicine may be subject to dismissal. |

Procedures:At any time, the SPRC can review the overall academic performance and professional behavior of a student and recommend appropriate action, up to and including dismissal. A student who has been dismissed may not be considered for readmission to the School of Medicine. Examples of conduct that may lead to dismissal include, without limitation, the following:

Definitions:Dismissal is the permanent administrative termination of a student's enrollment in the School of Medicine. |
