Transcript

On the cold and dreary wasteland of Oakland University, lies the Video Services Department, a small department with even smaller dreams.

With the latest in state of the art equipment of the early 2000s, the VSD control room is a sight to behold, controlling the studio where they shoot many of their original shows. Experts in multi-cam productions, many of their original shows are shot in this format, such as The Take and Veterans History Project.

All employees are experienced in many programs such as AVID, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, and more.

If you don't know how to use these, they might. With high-definition camera equipment, you can often see the VSD out, around campus. Rain or shine and even the torture of winter,  the VSD is there for you.

One of the VSD's biggest commodities is a campus TV station, OUTV and its livestream, bringing you quality programming 24 hours a day, 270 days a year.

The VSD will record anything, be it lectures, student programs, activities, and client work.

Nothing is off the table for the VSD.

You can always expect a smile from employees of the VSD. With three full-time employees and four student work horses, everyone at the VSD loves to provide the best visual experience around.

Quality videos, now that's pure VSD.
