Michigan-based flutist Brandon LePage currently serves as Principal Flute of both the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra and Flint Symphony Orchestra. As a highly sought-after orchestral musician, he has performed as Principal Flute with the Columbus Symphony (where he is also an Associate Musician), the Detroit Symphony, Toledo Symphony and Michigan Opera Theatre Orchestra. He can also be found performing throughout the country with ensembles such as the Milwaukee, Kalamazoo and Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestras. Brandon held the Piccolo position with the Lansing Symphony from 2013 - 2016 and has performed with the New World Symphony and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.

As a teacher, Mr. LePage enjoys a varied portfolio. He is the newly appointed Instructor of Flute at the Oakland University School of Music, Theatre and Dance. He also teaches as an instructor at the Flint School for the Performing Arts where he holds a private studio full of flutists of all ages, and also coaches the “Trill Seekers” and “Champagne Flutes” chamber ensembles. He can be found giving sectionals and chamber coachings throughout Michigan and Ohio, and his students often garner ratings of 1 at Solo and Ensemble Festival each year, while also participating in local youth music programs, such as the Detroit Civic Youth Ensembles, Flint Youth Ensembles and Dearborn Youth Symphony. Many of his students have gone on to such notable institutions as Oakland University, Michigan State University, Eastern Michigan University and Ithaca College to further their musical studies. Several of his former students can be found teaching and performing all across the Midwest.

Equally comfortable as a soloist and chamber musician, Brandon is a founding member of the Chamber Artists of Southeast Michigan. CASM presents concerts throughout the Midwest and most recently in the fall of 2019, they served a residency at Oakland University as performing artists and teachers. Through CASM, he has also been able to offer scholarship and educational opportunities to his hometown area of Downriver. As a soloist, Brandon has performed concertos with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, Southern Great Lakes Symphony and the Detroit Civic Symphony Orchestra. A former First Prize winner of the Southeast Michigan Flute Association’s Ervin Monroe Young Artist Competition, Brandon has served on the SEMFA board and is active in the Michigan flute community. He was a Quarter Finalist in the 2018 National Flute Association Young Artists Competition and can also be found presenting solo recitals throughout the country.

Brandon holds a master’s degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where he studied with Timothy Day and a bachelor's degree from the Michigan State University College of Music where he studied with Richard Sherman.
