Cramer Dorsey Hammond

Ron Cramer and W. Dorsey Hammond Reading Legacy Fund

Dr. Ron Cramer and Dr. W. Dorsey Hammond spent their careers focusing on the success of their students, current and future educators, and their student’s students.

Together, these professors of Reading and Language Arts have established an endowment to benefit doctoral students to conduct research, present their findings at conferences, and pay tuition.

Eligibility Requirements: 

  • current doctoral student in the Department of Reading and Language Arts
  • minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • students must be within the first seven years of their program

 Award Information: 

The Ron Cramer and W. Dorsey Hammond Reading Legacy Fund’s annual awards of approximately $1,000 will be distributed to two doctoral students each year. A student may only win this award one time during their degree program.

Application deadline is February 10, 2017.
