Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition, participants using remote control robots in a field

The Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition (IGVC), which provides an opportunity for engineers from around the world to compete with their uniquely-designed unmanned vehicles, will return June 1-4 to Oakland University.

IGVC challenges teams to build and operate autonomous robotic vehicles on an outdoor course with defined lanes, GPS waypoints and obstacles. The four-day competition is held annually on Oakland’s campus.

The competition is held in the field on the southwest corner of Adams Road and Walton Boulevard. 

Schedule:
June 1: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
June 2: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
June 3: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
June 4: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
