A 20-credit certificate program designed to individualize preparation to integrate technology in support of learning and literacy, primarily online and blended learning experiences, in any instructional area from elementary through university graduate program levels. Those holding Michigan teaching certificates may fulfill the requirements for the Michigan NP Endorsement through this certificate program. Students may enroll in this certificate program without pursuing a graduate degree.
A 16-credit certificate program indicting focused study in educational applications of digital technologies. This program is intended for teachers, administrators and professional staff representing a variety of educational and training levels. The certificate program meets the needs of educators in the challenging and rapidly changing field of technology in education as it relates to literacy, learning, and the school curriculum. Students may enroll in this certificate program without pursuing a graduate degree.
Advanced Microcomputer Applications in Education
For holders of the Digital Literacies and Learning Certificate (or the equivalent), this 16 credit advanced certificate provides an opportunity for focused inquiry in specific areas of interest relating to the impact of digital technologies on teaching, learning, and literacy in a variety of settings. Doctoral students may pursue this certificate as part of their minor concentration. Students may enroll in this certificate program without pursuing graduate degree.
