Dr. Anthony Briggs recently graduated with a Ph.D. from the Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning at Ontario Institute for Studies in Education/University of Toronto. He joins the College of Arts and Sciences in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work and Criminal Justice. His primary research focus utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to understand social factors affecting the high-school-to-work trajectory of Caribbean Black male youths. He seeks to understand the various considerations young males in the African Black Diaspora make throughout their educational and work experience.
