Environmental Health and Safety
The Environmental Health and Safety Continuing Education program offers a variety of short courses for Engineers, Skilled Trades persons and other operations personnel who need training in occupational safety, health and the environment. Courses for Lockout/Tagout, Fall Hazards, Electrical Safety and Confined Space Entry are offered. These courses meet the training requirements of OSHA, MIOSHA and other state programs and fulfill the contractor training requirements for automotive companies like General Motors.
Lockout/Tagout Safety Training Workshop
Course DescriptionThis course is intended for students who work as contractors of major automotive companies. The course provides the knowledge and skills needed to safely perform lockout for energy sources while working in a typical modern manufacturing facility. It includes a hands-on lab scenario and student manual.
