Oakland University’s School of Education & Human Services in partnership with the Hartmann-Eton Center for Teaching and Learning is pleased to announce the Connecting with the Distracted Student in the Classroom Part II. The workshop will be held at The Hartmann-Eton Center for Teaching and Learning on Eton Academy’s campus in Birmingham, MI on Tuesday, October 17.

Part II of the workshop will build upon the knowledge and strategies attained in Part I. One of the goals of the Part I Workshop was for participants to learn new tools and strategies, and then begin to implement these in their classrooms in September.

Benefits of the Workshop include:

  • Educators will become more aware of learning styles, differences, and disabilities
  • Develop new strategies to support learning in the classroom for all students
  • Improve the classroom experience for the distracted student in your classroom
  • Educators can earn SCECHs
  • Light refreshments and lunch provided
