Spencer will speak about his journey of taking a simple idea and turning it into a successful small business. He will discuss information and ideas that may help you become a successful entrepreneur too. Please join us as we discuss:

  • Key points to becoming an entrepreneur
  • How autism can be beneficial in entrepreneurship
  • How Spencer overcame some challenges of autism by running a business
  • Ideas on how to start your own business
  • Ways to streamline your planning and implementation for maximum effectiveness

Spencer Kelly, an individual with ASD, is the successful young business owner of The Expedition Soap Company. Spencer has multiple speaking engagements including (guest panelist at USAutism.org’s World Conference, TEDx Detroit, local schools and Universities). Spencer has also been featured in magazines, local and national newspapers, FOX 2 Detroit Health Works and CBS 62 Eye on Detroit segments.

This event is designed for individuals with autism of all ages, their parents and family, as well as educators and professionals working with people on the spectrum.
