Oakland University is an official partner for the 2018 American Heart Association’s Metro Detroit Heart and Stroke Walk/Run, which will be held on Saturday, May 12, on the campus of Wayne State University. OU’s goal is to register 16 teams for a total of 300 participants to raise $15,000 that will further support heart disease and stroke research.

All individuals are welcome to participate in the Heart Walk, including campus community members and their family and friends. Even if unable to attend the Heart Walk, everyone is encouraged to join a team and show their support for heart health over the upcoming months.
