INDIANAPOLIS - Oakland's Kay Felder has been named the NCAA's Men's Basketball Player of the Week, announced the NCAA on Tuesday. This marks the first time Felder has been named the NCAA's National Player of the Week.

Felder, a junior guard from Detroit, Mich., helped lead the Golden Grizzlies to three road victories last week finishing with a double-double in each. He began the week with 24 points and 10 assists at Northern Kentucky on Monday, then tied a career-high with 14 assists and added 17 points at Youngstown State, and ended the week at Cleveland State with 13 points and 11 assists.
