The Medical Library is pleased to host the National Library of Medicine traveling exhibit Confronting Violence: Improving Women's Lives, through August 31 in the Kresge Library Lobby.

In the late 1970s, nurses across the country campaigned for the recognition of domestic violence as a serious health issue. The exhibit chronicles their stories and the lasting impact of their advocacy work.

An accompanying online exhibition features a fascinating collection of historical photos and documents. This exhibition was developed and produced by The National Library of Medicine with support from the Office of Research on Women’s Health.

Open 24 hours.
