Spring 2024 Commencement Fair

Please read below information regarding Spring 2024 Commencement Fairs.

Wednesday, March 27, 2024 ~ 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Oakland Center, Founders Ballroom

OR (attend only one day, not both days)

Saturday, March 30, 2024 ~ 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Oakland Center, Founders Ballroom

• Please attend one of these fairs only if you are a graduate participating in one of April’s
• Attend the fair any time within the designated hours. Your total time commitment will be less than 30 minutes.
• Guest tickets are required for commencement, and it is mandatory that they be picked up at the Commencement Fair. A photo ID (OU ID or Driver's License) is needed to pick up your tickets. (Students who are participating in commencement will not need a ticket)
• You can purchase your commencement regalia at the OU Gear Shop on the lower level of the Oakland Center. You may also purchase your regalia online by visiting the OU GEAR Shop website. The last day to order regalia online is March 1, 2024. If you need to place an order after March 1, 2024, please visit the Oakland University Gear Shop in-person.
• Update your information with Career and Life Design Center and Alumni Engagement.
• Learn how to leave a legacy with a Class Gift.
• Student Photo Options (select only one option, not both):
  
  
  • Option 1
    • Students may have their photo taken by a photographer from GradImages on the day of the fairs only. Students should wear professional attire or your own regalia is suggested. Please come prepared to take a photo.

      OR (beginning March 1, 2024)

  • Option 2
    • Students will be able to upload a photo in lieu of having their picture taken at the fairs. Photos that are uploaded should follow the following guideline: dress in professional attire, photo is only from the chest up or students may wear their own regalia.
    • The option to upload a photo will begin on March 1, 2024 and end on April 5, 2024 at 5 p.m. This deadline can not be extended for any reason. A link will be emailed to students to upload their picture.

Tickets

Each guest attending a commencement ceremony, including children ages three and up, will need a ticket. Guest tickets for Commencement are free, and must be picked up at the Commencement Fair. Graduates do not need a ticket.

At this time, each student will be allocated 4 tickets. At this time, there are no extra tickets available.
