Meet the Staff

Students and alumni may speak with a Career Consultant during open advising hours. This is a great opportunity for students with brief questions and concerns to come in and speak with a coordinator on a first-come, first-served basis.

Career Ambassadors are a career resource for students from all different majors and classes. By meeting with students, they spread the word about the resume, interview and job search help that Career Services provides.

  Danielle Wade
  Junior
  Human Resources
ManagementDanielle

Danielle is in her third year at Oakland University and this is her first year as a Career Ambassador. She spends her free time by writing novels and watching good movies, she would like to learn how to speak Spanish and play the piano, and her favorite superhero is Batman! Her friends would describe her as one to always think ahead.

Holly Lustig
Senior
Anthropology
Holly

This is Holly’s final year as a Golden Grizzly and her first semester as a Career Ambassador. The first concert Holly ever went to was the Backstreet Boys when she was six and she has met the butler from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air- Geoffrey! If she could travel anywhere in the world it would be Cambodia, her favorite super hero is the Vision because he is subtly the best and steps in when he needs to, and her dream job is to be Indiana Jones.

Jake Stewart
Senior
Mechanical Engineering
Jake

Jake is in his senior year at Oakland University and this is his second semester as a Career Ambassador. In ten years, Jake sees himself finishing his masters in either biomedical engineering or business while working as a mechanical engineer. He would also like to buy his own piece of land in the country and design his own house! What motivates Jake are the dreams and goals that he sets for himself that he has captured and keeps on a board in his room. Jake spends his free time outdoors boating, fishing, cycling, golfing, and staying active.

Kirsten Domsic
Junior
Human Resource management
Kirsten

Kirsten is a junior and this is her first semester with our CAP team. One non- career goal she has is to write and illustrate a mystery, chapter book for junior high- aged students. If she could have an endless supply of food it would be frozen peas, she would change her name to Kristen if she had to, and if she woke up as an animal- she would want to be an owl so she could sleep all day!

Marc Nahed
Senior
Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering
Marc

This is Marc’s senior year at Oakland and his first year working for Career Services. One goal of his is to travel to 50+ countries, the first cd he ever bought was The Platinum Collection by Queen, and he would describe himself as knowledgeable, sarcastic, and calm. Marc’s favorite quote is “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole live believing that it is stupid” by Albert Einstein!

Niko Parks
Senior
Marketing
Niko

Niko is in his final year at OU and this is his first semester as a Career Ambassador. One non- career goal he has is to slam dunk a basketball and he considers himself to be very good at juggling and making 3- pointers. What motivates him are his relationships with people and those who are willing to go the extra mile for him, as he will do the same. Niko’s favorite vacation he has ever been on was going to Germany and Greece this past summer!

Sahar Rammaha
Sophomore
Biology/ Pre-Med

Sahar

This is Sahar’s second semester as a part of our CAP team and her second year at OU!

Her favorite quote is “Keep moving forward” by Walt Disney, she would survive a zombie apocalypse by always moving and staying on her feet, and the highlight of her summer was visiting her family overseas in Palestine. One thing she will never throw away is her high school notes, lectures, and assignments because it reminds her of her younger self and all of the progress she has made since then!

Steven Tocco
Sophomore
Communications

Steve

Steven is returning for his second year at OU and his third semester in CS! One skill he would like to learn is to be able to work on his own car’s repairs, if he were given a yacht he would name it Pier Pressure, and the most famous person he has ever met is Wayne Thibodeau, the director of Career Services at Oakland University. Steven aspires to be a talk show host, and his first guest would be Jimmy Fallon because he would be Jimmy’s successor!

Alex Kleckner
Sophomore
Finance

Alex

This is Alex’s first semester working as a Career Ambassador and his second year at Oakland. If Alex could change his name, he would change it to Stuart and he considers himself to be very good at Connect Four. The technology invention that has made the most impact on his life is sliced bread and if he woke up tomorrow as an animal, he would want to be a goat (because they are the Greatest Of All Time)!

Jaclyn Nasir
Sophomore
Bioengineering

Jaclyn

Jaclyn is in her second year as a Golden Grizzly and this is her first semester working for Career Services. The first CD she ever bought was “Oops… I Did It Again” by Britney Spears, if she had a yacht she would name it Fishizzle, and if she could travel anywhere in the world it would be Egypt. In her free time she plays tennis, bikes with her friends, and sits in her room watching Netflix.
