Fall 2007 - Schools & Colleges -  Researching antenna power
Construction has begun on the Department of Electrical Engineering’s on-campus Automotive Antenna Measurement Instrumentation (AAMI). Proposed by Daniel Aloi, associate professor of engineering and director of the Applied Electromagnetic and Wireless Laboratory (AEWL) at OU, the facility will provide faculty, students, researchers and industry personnel with state-of-the-art antenna research instrumentation for research and training purposes.

Fall 2003 - Schools & Colleges -  Grants help SECS research take flight
When the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded Assistant Engineering Professor Daniel Aloi a five-year cooperative agreement ($300,000 per year) to assist in the development of a satellite-based landing system, it introduced a new era at Oakland University.
