WISE@OU Campus Climate Studies
During the past year, WISE@OU has conducted an accelerated "institutional transformation" fact-finding endeavor. Below are links to the reports with WISE@OU's findings about the campus climate at Oakland University.
Published in May 2013, this report compiles the information from the WISE@OU climate survey, focus group sessions, and other faculty-related data. The WISE@OU leadership team has analyzed the data to determine the current strengths and limitations of the OU campus climate and to identify issues that may hamper the success and growth of STEM faculty, women and under-represented populations in particular.
Published in August 2012, this preliminary survey summary report contains analysis for a subset of questions from the WISE@OU climate survey that was given to tenure-track and tenured faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering and Computer Science at Oakland University in April 2012.
Questions from the WISE@OU Climate Survey. Organized by topic: the hiring process, the tenure process, career growth, balancing personal and professional life, diversity issues, career satisfaction, and personal demographics.
