Oakland Center begins first phase of reopening
The Oakland Center is reopening to the campus community on a limited basis.

The Oakland Center at Oakland University is reopening to the campus community on a limited basis beginning today.

The current hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

However, there will be no access to food services, the Barnes & Noble at Oakland University bookstore or Oakland University Credit Union services at this time.

“We want to reopen to students and offer another resource for studying, using campus WiFi and technology and offer collaborative space in very small groups (meetings must be under 10 people) as the first phase of our return to campus plan,” said Chris Reed, director of the Oakland Center.

More details about when other Oakland Center offices and services plan to reopen will be posted as updates on the Oakland Center web page in the days and weeks to come.
