Biography:

Liz has a BA in Political Science from the University of Illinois-Chicago. She transitioned into the English discipline when she received her MA from Eastern Illinois University in Composition and Rhetoric and then her Ph.D. in 2019 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. While working with Dr. David Downing, her research centered around academic and campus novels and the effects of neoliberalism within higher education. Other areas of interest include poetry, gender and women's studies, academic and campus films, and the broad reaches of Foucault's discourse on power.
