Be on the OaklandU story – Snapchat Takeovers

The OaklandU story is your story. We want you to tell it.

Takeover Tuesday#TakeoverTuesday is a weekly series where you can take over our OaklandU Snapchat account to show us your Golden Grizzly day-in-the-life. We’re looking for enthusiastic, social media-savvy students to host the account and show the world how you OU. You don't necessarily have to be involved in a million student orgs or live on campus, we're looking for every-day Golden Grizzlies (whatever that may be). Sound like you? Apply now!

Student Org Feature – Does your student org have a big event coming up? Are you actively recruiting? Or do you just want to show off how fun your group is? Host the OaklandU Snapchat account for the day, and give viewers a peek into your student org. Apply now!

Alumni, Faculty and Staff Do you love your Grizzly roots? Show our current students what life is like post-grad, what teaching college students or researching a cure is like, or go behind the scenes and show the inter-workings of a university. Apply now!

When you send us a snap ...

The oaklandu Snapchat account is monitored by OU's social media staff. We may screenshot snaps sent directly to us for cross-promotion on any of OU's social media platforms.

If the content of your snap is concerning, we will also forward them to the Dean of Students or OU Police Department. However, Snapchat — like any social media platform — is not an official means of communication with the University and should not be treated as such. Be sure that all serious questions and concerns are directed to the appropriate office and all emergencies should be reported to OUPD

See our guidelines for reporting content on social media that you believe is suspicious or threatening.
