Lynnae Lehfeldt (she, her, hers) is the professor of voice and movement for the School of Music, Theatre and Dance at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, hired in 2010. She received her BA in Theatre and Film from the University of Kansas and her MFA from Wayne State University's Hilberry program. She has the distinction of being the only Designated Teacher of Linklater Voice in the state of Michigan. Additionally, she has trained with the SITI Company (Saratoga International Theatre Institute), LIMS (Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies, and GLMCC (Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium). She studied Iyengar Yoga at CYS (Center for Yoga Seattle) where she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher-training course.

She has taught as an English Language Specialist for the U.S. State Department at Moscow State Linguistic University, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Moscow State Institute of International Relations, and the American Center Moscow. She was honored at Spaso House by the American Ambassador, Jon Huntsman Jr., for her work with teachers in the Access Program. She serves as an Associate Editor for IDEA (International Dialects of English Archive.) She is a member of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association, the Association of Theatre Movement Educators, the Association for Theatre in Higher Education, Actors' Equity Association, the Michael Chekhov Association, Theatre Communications Group, Drama League, and Who's Who in Fine Arts Higher Education.

She has vocal/dialect coached for Meadow Brook Theatre (LORT), the Jewish Ensemble Theatre, Michigan Shakespeare Festival, Performance Network, Water Works Shakespeare Festival, Matrix Theatre, the Purple Rose Theatre, Kickshaw Theatre and Theatre Nova. She has choreographed and/or movement coached productions for Meadow Brook Theatre, Theatreworks, the Jewish Ensemble Theatre, Michigan Shakespeare Festival, and Water Works Shakespeare Festival.

Her professional work as a director includes productions for the Jewish Ensemble Theatre, Water Works Shakespeare Festival and the Wild Swan Theatre. Lynnae joined Actors' Equity Association in 1992 and has performed with Paul Rudd and Keegan-Michael Key. She has been directed by Neil LaBute and, Tony Award winner, Martin Platt. She has been awarded a Theatre Excellence Award from the Detroit Free Press, numerous Best Dramatic Performance awards from the Oakland Press, and won the Wilde Award for best comic performance as Lee in The Tale of the Allergist's Wife.

Ms. Lehfeldt has presented at international conferences in Russia, Singapore, and Canada and has lead numerous workshops at conferences including the Association of Theatre of Higher Education, the International Voice and Speech Trainers Association, Stratera Foundation, the Southeast Theatre Conference, and the Great Lakes Gender Parity in Theatre Conference.
