Research/Scholarships:
Dr. Drouin’s research focus is on metabolic assessments and exercise training in special populations with a focus on individuals undergoing cancer treatments.  Dr. Drouin’s clinical background includes work in an Acute Care Trauma Center, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Oncology, Pediatrics, and Orthopedics.  Dr. Drouin received the 2015 International Scholar Award from the World Confederation for Physical Therapy’s Subgroup for HIV/AIDs, Oncology, and Hospice and Palliative Care.

Professional Affiliations:
Dr. Drouin is a member of the World Confederation for Physical Therapy, the American Physical Therapy Association, and the Michigan Physical Therapy Association.  She serves as President of the World Confederation for Physical Therapy’s Subgroup for HIV/AIDs, Oncology, and Hospice and Palliative Care.  She is the Board Member-at-Large on the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties for the Oncology Specialization.  She is also a Board Member for the Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy and is the Associate Editor-at-Large for the Rehabilitation Oncology Journal.  Dr. Drouin received the 2015 Debbra Flommenhoft Humanitarian Award for her work from the American Physical Therapy Association’ Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy.
