Settlemoir Dzwik Academic Leadership Endowment

Settlemoir Dzwik Academic Leadership Endowment

The Settlemoir Dzwik Academic Leadership Endowment was established to help strengthen the University's ability to deliver excellence to its students and the community, both now and in the future, by helping to establish new programs and make current programs extraordinary by supporting both education and technological advancements.

As a scholar, leader, and supporter, Dr. Leigh Settlemoir Dzwik and her husband, Steven P. Dzwik, saw the impact leaders and mentors in the higher education profession had on her personal and professional development. The influence of those individuals, along with the support of her family, helped to establish this endowment, as they have always believed in investing in the next generation of leaders.

The purpose of the Settlemoir Dzwik Academic Leadership Endowment award is to support academic leadership by providing funds to doctoral students at the University, who are concentrating their studies in Higher Education Administration in the Department of Organizational Leadership in the School of Education and Human Services, to be applied towards expenses related to completion of their doctoral dissertations and/or University tuition.
