Student Organizations

Students interested in getting involved in campus activities and events may consider the following student organizations:

  • Jewish Student Organization/Hillel
HMD offers opportunities to connect with the Jewish community through interactive programs, both on and off-campus, making the transition from high school to college -- or college to the workforce -- easier.

  • InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
InterVarsity's vision is to see students and faculty transformed, campuses renewed, and world-changers developed. We're a community of people that seek to encourage each other as we learn about Jesus and the impact God has on our lives. We meet weekly on Thursdays at 6:30 pm throughout the year. Contact Michael Williams at 810-479-6348 or michael.williams@intervarsity.org for more information.

  • Muslim Student Association

  • Religious Studies Club (RSC)
The RSC's mission is to raise cultural awareness and understanding of the various faith traditions in Southeast Michigan through direct student involvement and cultivate communal bonds at large. For more information, please feel free to contact the student representative, Michael Unger at michaelunger@oakland.edu.

  • United We Coexist
UWC is a student organization that promotes dialogue between those of different faiths and between those who profess a certain faith and those who do not.
