As well as testing, consultation, crisis intervention and outreach designed to help students to overcome emotional challenges to meet their intellectual, interpersonal and developmental goals. We aid students in the development of coping skills to deal with a diverse and changing world.

Update for 2023-2024 Academic Year

The OUCC is located in the Graham Health Center Building. We will be using the main lobby and entrance this year.

All students can receive four free sessions, the following sessions will have a $20 copay. The OUCC works under a short-term counseling model. In person, video, and telephone visits are available.

The OUCC will be offering even more groups this year! Click the link below to learn more about what groups are being offered and how you can register.

Announcing the 'Grizz Recovery Program'!

The Grizz recover Program is a Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP) partially supported by a grant from the Jamie Daniels Foundation and The Children's Foundation. A CRP provides a supportive community where students in recovery and in hope of recovery can achieve academic success while enjoying a genuine college experience free from alcohol and other drugs. The CRP and its services are designed to empower students holistically to thrive to the fullness of the college experience.

The Collegiate Recovery Program provides:

  • A recovery lounge to hangout in between classes (located on the 1st floor of Van Wagoner)
  • One-on-one individualized case management services
  • Weekly recovery meetings
  • Fun, sober social events
