Presented by Ron Sandison, successful adult, author, and employee with ASD.

During this presentation, Ron will share his journey to employment and discuss practical insights for helping individuals with autism be gainfully employed. Topics will include:

  • Obtaining and maintaining employment
  • Skills needed for gainful employment
  • Developing social skills for the workplace
  • Understanding workplace culture and norms
  • Transforming special interest into employment opportunities 

Ron Sandison is an advisory board member of the Faith Initiative of the Autism Society of America & board member of The Art of Autism. Sandison holds a Masters of Divinity from Oral Roberts University and is the author of A Parent’s Guide to Autism: Practical Advice.

This event is designed for individuals with ASD, parents and caregivers of teens and adults with autism, as well as professionals who work with people impacted by autism and anyone interested in learning about the topic. No Cost to Attend. Seating is limited.
