Ms. Poly-Droulard received an MSN from Oakland, an M.Ed from Wayne State, a BSN from Oakland and is a Certified Nurse Educator through the National League for Nursing. Ms. Poly-Droulard’s areas of Expertise are inand Emergency Department Nursing, Nursing Education with the use of simulationa teaching/learning methodology. Affiliations include: Michigan Council of Nursing Education, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing (Board Member), International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation & Learning, National Hispanic Nurse Association and   other Nursing Associations. Innovative Teaching Activities include receiving the Oakland University Innovation in Teaching Grant from the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning in 2013.  Ms. Poly-Droulard has also presented (in conjunction with her colleagues) numerous poster presentations and was recently published in the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN).  Ms. Poly-Droulard has been nominated for the Teaching Excellence Award several times.

Speaking Invitations include the School of Nursing Pinning ceremonies for the BSN and LPN programs. Lynda remains active in a number of School of Nursing and University activities.

Lynda recently worked with the School of Nursing leadership team to form a partnership between Oakland University and Focus: HOPE in Detroit Michigan.
