Ms. Beres teaches Health Promotion II and is the Faculty of Record for the Basic Clinical Competencies II course. She is also Faculty of Record for the Nursing Synthesis Courses for the Basic and Accelerated Second Degree Students. Her area of interest is in adult health with a special focus on the older adults, vulnerable populations and inter-professional education and collaboration. Her Health Promotion and clinical courses include a community component that facilitates student involvement in a variety of community activities and experiences in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties. For the clinical course during, the students participate in an inter-professional education experience with the second semester medical students and the last semester DPT students during winter semester. Ms. Beres is member of the Assessment Task Force. She is also Governance Committee Chair for Theta Psi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing
