The Detroit Symphony Orchestra is offering the Oakland University campus community a discount ticket offer for three of its upcoming performances.

At 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29 , the DSO will welcome Graceland’s favorite Elvis interpreter, Terry Mike Jeffrey, in a salute to Elvis Presley and an 80th anniversary celebration fit for “The King." Michelle Merrill will conduct.

DSO-OconnorAt 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6, the DSO will highlight ten french horns, eight trumpets, two sets of timpani, an organ and a full choir in a performance of Mahler's "Resurrection" Symphony Leonard Slatkin will direct and Melissa Citro, soprano, and Kelley O'Connor, mezzo soprano will appear as featured soloists.

DSO-HadelichAt 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10 and at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, the DSO will welcome dynamic young maestro Case Scaglione top lead classical gems by Mozart, Beethoven and Haydn. Phenomenal violinist Augustin Hadelich will return with a stunning orchestration of Shostakovich's first sonata.
