Student-led walking tours are generally offered Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. In 90 minutes, we'll cover academic buildings, residence halls, hangouts and a bit of OU history.

Events
Are You Ready for College?
High school students and their family members are invited to find out how they can prepare for college. Admissions and financial aid experts will discuss the college selection process, transitioning from high school to college, and financing a university education. Reservations are required. Go for the Gold
High school students, transfer students and their families will meet Oakland University faculty, staff and students; tour the campus and residence halls; and learn more about Oakland's academic programs through interactive sessions. Transfer Student Open House
Transfer students can receive an immediate admissions decision and credit evaluation, and even learn about orientation. OU staff will be available to answer questions about general education requirements, transfer credit procedures and financial aid. Transfer Tuesdays
Transfer Tuesdays are designed for students who wish to transfer to Oakland University. By making an appointment, you are able to meet with an admissions adviser for an admissions decision and get an evaluation of credits completed while you wait! TAG Advising Days
Participate in our Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) program and get the opportunity to attend these special advising days. Whether you're a high school junior planning ahead, or a community college student planning to transfer after the completion of your associate's degree, academic advisers from your major area of interest will be available to guide you in course selection, ensuring your time at the community college is maximized. FAFSA Workshop
Designed for admitted Oakland University students who would like assistance in filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). By selecting a 90-minute appointment time, students and their parents will have the opportunity to fill out the FAFSA online with the assistance of a Financial Aid adviser.
