Health Science (Nutrition and Health)
The nutrition and health concentration area prepares students for work in a variety of clinical and public health fields that emphasize the relationship between diet, nutrition, food access and health status.
Students majoring in Health Sciences can expect to complete a multi-disciplinary, science-based curriculum that will prepare them for a broad range of careers. Our students have gone on to graduate school and professional work in dentistry, dietetics and nutrition, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, physician assistants, public health, among others.
